GUARDIAN WALKATHON TO FOCUS ON WALK 10,000 STEPS A DAY

Everyone has got a busy lifestyle, not to forget that we need to have healthy lifestyle. Guardian Walkathon 2016 - the annual charity event aimed at promoting walking as part of a healthier lifestyle. This year is the 7th year of the walkathon, it will be held on Malaysia Day, 16 September 2016 at Wetland Park, Putrajaya.

Every year, participants of Walkathon has increase. This year hopefully can gained 3,000 entries and raise funds for 15 orphanages throughout the country.

This year Guardian's Health and Beauty Sdn Bhd Ms Low explains that walking 10,000 steps everyday for a healthy lifestyle.

Guardian Walkathon 2016 has two categories, 3km fun walk and 5km fun walk. It's a fun walk that you can bring along your family to join. Put on your outstanding Malaysian Costume and you'll get the chance to win the grand prize of Guardian Vouchers worth RM1,000, and consolation prizes of RM100 each.

You can purchase the tickets from today to 28 August. They are priced at a special price of RM25 each for adults, RM15 each for children and Golden Privilege members, with a minimum purchase of RM20 in a single receipt from Guardian. Tickets for group entries of four would be discounted to RM60 per group. RM5 of each ticket sold will be contributed to the orphanages. The tickets can be purchased at any Guardian store in the Klang Valley and Negeri Sembilan.

Mark your calendar as for six days from 26 to 31 July 2016, sponsors of the Walkathon will be hold a Health Concourse at the Centre Court of 1 Utama Shopping Centre. The fair would be open from 10am to 10pm for each of the six days. Let's take part in this healthy walk together with family and friends.
