guardian Sparks National Day Celebration with #LoveforLocal campaign

Petaling Jaya, 23 August 2024:

This National Day, guardian is elevating the excitement with its #LoveForLocal campaign, which proudly showcases Malaysia's finest beauty brands. As part of this initiative, guardian is championing 30 exceptional local labels, making it easier than ever for Malaysians to explore, discover, and support homegrown beauty products.

By shining a spotlight on these brands, guardian not only celebrates the diversity and creativity of Malaysian entrepreneurs but also encourages a deeper connection to the rich cultural heritage that these products represent.

Whether you’re looking to try something new or show your love for local talent, guardian’s #LoveforLocal campaign provides the perfect opportunity to do so while embracing the spirit of unity and pride in our nation’s unique offerings.

Anna Ng, Marketing Director at guardian Malaysia, says, “We’re thrilled to give these local beauty brands a major boost to grow new customers by increasing their distribution network and give them heightened visibility at our over 600 stores and online platform which will help these brands reach new heights, making quality local beauty products more accessible than ever.”

Local beauty pioneers are already seeing the benefits.

Adibah Mazlan, founder of The Raw, shares, “Partnering with guardian has significantly expanded our reach, allowing us to showcase our pharmaceutical-grade skincare to a wider audience.”

Chryseis Tan, founder of Lumi, adds, “At Lumi, we believe in radiant, cruelty-free beauty for everyone. guardian’s support means our botanical skincare solutions are now available nationwide, helping more Malaysians achieve their best glow.”

Sarah Shah Nor, creator of Cuura, is equally enthusiastic: “Thanks to guardian, Cuura’s natural, halal-certified skincare is now reaching more customers, providing gentle yet effective solutions for sensitive skin.”

Sue Aini, founder of Mango Flamingo, emphasizes, “Our goal is to help Malaysians achieve youthful, confident skin. guardian’s support is making our quality products more accessible to everyone.”

These four remarkable brands will showcase their top products at the guardian #IYKYK Beauty Atrium event, running from 27th August to 1st September at the Blue Atrium, Sunway Pyramid.

The event will feature family-friendly activities, exciting discounts, and a dance competition blending K-pop with Malaysian flair on 31 August at 12 PM.

Enjoy up to 20% off all #loveforlocal beauty products and up to 50% off on skincare and personal care items during the campaign. Plus, get a free beauty mask with every two purchased, and enjoy the same great deal on beauty accessories while stocks last.

“Dive into the #LoveforLocal National Day campaign for unbeatable deals and discover Malaysia’s best beauty brands in our stores, online, or at our atrium event,” concludes Anna.
