Sakae Sushi Chinese New Year Treats & Yee Sang Launch


Yesterday morning I attended the Sakae Sushi Chinese New Year Treats & Yee Sang Launch at Paradigm Mall.

Chinese New Year just few weeks away, Ushering in the 2015 Lunar New Year, one can certainly look forward to a festival of auspicious, merriment and togetherness. In the same vein, Sakae Sushi continues the tradition of bringing people together through good and healthy food whilst rewarding customers by offering exciting promotions - all part of the brand's promise to provide a fun-filled, quality and value for money dining experience. 

This year marks a unique and meaningful Chinese New Year celebration as Sakae Sushi capped off its 'Gift of Love' campaign with a cheque presentation ceremony. The campaign was launched in conjuction with Sakae's 17th anniversary last year, diners were invited to fold an origami heart and drop it off at the "Gift of Love" box placed in Sakae Sushi outlets nationwide. Each origami heart received would then be channeled as RM1 to be donated to Hope worldwide Malaysia, enabling Sakae Sushi and its customers to play an active role together in supporting charity causes. To commemorate the campaign's success, Sakae Sushi presented Hope worldwide Malaysia with a total of RM20,000 in donations. This amount was then presented in a ceremony held in Paradigm Mall.
Graced by local celebrities, guests of honor, media and bloggers, the event was a fun filled affair with the launch of Sakae's Chinese New Year Treats, performances, lucky draw and more.

After the Official launched and performances of Chinese New Year treats we headed to Sakae Sushi for lunch. 

This year, Sakae Sushi’s Fortune Salmon Yee Sang is once again bound to tempt taste buds everywhere and set the stage for an auspicious toast. The Party Of The Century at Empire City

Milo Cans Next Games Campaign

Few days agao I attended the Milo Cans Next Games Campaign which is lanched at Talent Lounge, PJ Trade Centre. 

I growing up drinking Milo, how about you? Even my children likes to drink Milo cans. 
Now there is Milo Cans Next Games Campaign, which you can create your very own badminton court! No kidding lets read on to find out.

MILO® Cans Next Games is giving Malaysians the opportunity to create their own badminton court as well as the chance to win RM5,000 and experience their winning court being brought to life. The “Reimagine Badminton” contest will run from 19 January to 1 March, 2015 and interested participants will need to log on to www.milo.com.my/nextgames to register and create their unique court. This mobile-friendly MILO® Cans Next Games app can be accessed from both computer desktops and mobile devices and will enable users to name and customise their own badminton court.

They will be able to determine the type of court, net and texture as well as include special elements which can be unlocked through purchasing the different MILO® Cans variants. The MILO® Cans Next Games “Reimagine Badminton” competition is open to Malaysians aged 16 and above.

Badminton as you know it - a traditional racquet sport played on a rectangular court divided by a net – is about to be reimagined and redefined, and members of the public will get to have a hand in it.

My makeup post, create my 2015 look


Ladies have you start your 2015 makeup look? It's exciting as it's my first post on this blog about makeup post on create my 2015 look. Being mommy of two boys, I also need to pamper self with beauty products. Thanks to Butterfly Project Malaysia, above beauty products are part of beauty box I received.

a. Maybelline New York Color Show - Pink Voltage 010
Let's check out my nails first, as I love nail polish. I tried out the Maybelline New York Color Show, pink!

Above is pink color- I applied one layer of the Pink Voltage on my nails. 
Above picture is result of after applied two layer of the nail polish. 
I like pink color, this is sweet pink color for every gal. 

 b. Maybelline New York Baby Lips electro pop - water melon flavor (pink shock)
You are look at Maybelline New York  Baby Lips eletrco pop, 
it has light scene of watermelon flavor.
This is pink shock as it is pink color as you can see.


I applied this at home or outdoor. This colored lip balm can last up to 8 hours moisture and hydration.
You can reapply them if you have taken lunch or dinner. 
I swipe the lip balm on my hand as you can see above picture, first swipe is lighter, second swipe more pink. 
I put on two layer on my lips though one layer is enough but I like it double. :D
The product contained of shea butter & vitamin E. It gives the lips a soft and natural finish and leaves a supple and smooth feeling.


c. Collection Hotlights Lip gloss - 3 Glimmer
Collection Hotlights Lip gloss, . 

Want to know why it is call Hotlights? Look below as this lip gloss has got light!
No kidding, it's very fun to use the lip gloss, the side of the product also have a mirror.
There's a seal around the mirror, so you need to peel it off else the mirror will not be clear.
Once I twist open the bottle, I can see the bright light.


I used the product in the room, it is dark as I didn't turn on the light in the room.

 Collection Hotlights Lip gloss - 3 Glimmer is the one I used. 3 Glimmer is the shade I received.

 Collection Hotlights Lip gloss is 6ml. 

d. Dollywink eyeliner - black
The Dollywink eyeliner is black in color. It is easy to use and dry fast after applied on eye lids.

Spring Reunion 2015

Let me begin my blog post with food related to Spring Reunion.

Chinese New Year is next month, have you plan on where to bring your family to have Spring Reunion? 

This Springtime is a season of renewal, when new life springs forth after the cold and passiveness of winter. Similarly, Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is a time of fresh beginnings, a time to celebrate family reunion which traditional delights, auspicious, dishes and sumptuous feasts. This time to celebrate can also with friends and colleagues. 

Chinese New Year is next month I have friends with interest to know where they can bring their family for dining. Some of them already know that they can indulge in authentic Cantonese cuisine at any Tai Thong restaurant

Sharing is caring, so I am sharing with you what must eat in Tai Thong restaurant, of course they have many dishes on menu you can choose and try. 
Golden Fortune Yee Sang

Yee Sang is a must during Chinese New Year, check out this Golden Fortune Yee Sang. this is healthy fruit-flavoured yee sang now featured sliced fresh star fruit, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds and black sesame, all to add more flavor and texture that ever before! 


My first yee sang of the year 2015.

You can find the Golden Fortune Yee Sang or Double Happiness Yee Sang at Tai Thong.
Half or full portions are price at RM68++ (half portion) and RM98++ (full portion) respectively.


The Golden Fortune Yee Sang is healthy fruity and you will want to have second bites after having first plate. 



Who doesn't like soup? For Chinese it is better to have soup to drink during lunch or dinner. Don't ask me why as seem it is a traditional which runs in the family. Sometimes I no take any soup in during lunch, usually we have soup during dinner. How about you? Above picture you are looking at the Double-boiled Chicken Soup with Chinese Cordyceps.

Sauteed Scallops and Prawns with Asparagus and Fresh Lily Bulbs, nice to eat with rice.

Don't worry you don't need to mix the rice and waxed meat by yourself.

Infusing the traditional Poon Choy with contemporary Szechuan-inspired twist, Group Executive Chef Lee Wee Hong has created Golden Treasure Poon Choy, which uses a Sour and Spicy sauce as its base. Definitely a unique sensation for the taste buds, this Poon Choy is a must for those with an adventurous palate. 

Filled with exotic spices, fiery flavours and a treasure trove of assorted seafood, including fish maw, sea cucumber, squid, conpoy, tiger prawn and dried oyster.
I like the taste of Sour and Spicy, every bite of it and second round for more and sauce at base.

For your info Golden Treasure Poon Choy is price RM298++ for 5 pax and RM498++ for 10 pax. Advance orders are advisable and take away is also available. 

Sesame Balls with "Nian Gao" and red Red Bean Paste

Yummy at every bite, crunchy every bite. For a different take on classic "Nian Gao"; this is sesame-coated glutinous rice dumplings find with two sweet and sticky flavours - velvety soft red bean paste and homemade classic "Nian Gao". Beware it's hot so take each bite slowly! 
Each portion of 6 is priced at RM13.80++.



Mini Eight Treasures Rice
It's my first time to see such colorful rice. What is this called? This is famous Mini Eight Treasures Rice in Chinese called "ba bao fan" served during Chinese New Year celebrations. This is classic sticky and sweet dessert, made from glutinous rice and eight types of cooked dried fruit that, according to Chinese medicine, are mean to provide therapeutic effect.

A feast to the eyes as well as your taste buds, above you are looking at six Mini Eight Treasures Rice. Each Mini Eight Treasures Rice comprises of glutinous rice, pumpkin, lotus seeds, raisins, dried apricots, as well as red and green cherries, all drizzled with fragrant Osmanthus syrup.

Each Mini Eight Treasures Rice is priced at RM9.80++ per serving.

Server unavailable Watsons website

How's everyone doing? I can hear thunder here but there is no rain yet. So now I have time to do online registration to activate my Watsons member card. Sad to say after many times of trying their server unavailable at their website. It's completely waste of time.

By the way they are having iPhone 6 contests that you can check out their website for info. I am sure there is terms to join their contest. Online shopping with their website to join their contest.

Next Monday school start, are you ready? My son thought yesterday start and he woke up worry that he's late to school. I find that my son asks me many questions, instead of asking his dad.

Now is January, are you watching any new movie in cinema? I have interest to watch Taken 3, just waiting to see if any contest that I can win to watch.

So talking of member cards, I have got so many in my wallet. Well it's never enough there will be more and more coming asking you to sign up! Anyway if I seldom use them I wouldn't sign them up. Its just taking spaces in my wallet. There was a time my cards fall out of my wallet, lucky I pick up every piece of it. But sad I lost a card, that's MBO cinema member card. To replacement the card I need go MBO to pay RM2 for replacement. I used it last few weeks back, I didn't notice that I haven't get the card return to me and they no longer keeping my card. So I need to pay RM2 to replacement my card.
