Improving the Quality of Your Skin with Laser Skin Tightening Procedures

When your skin starts to become wrinkled you may feel embarrassed and upset, but you should know that you can correct the issue. Even though you can't stop yourself or your skin from aging, the skincare industry has developed many ways to keep skin which has aged or been damaged by the elements healthier. One such option is a laser skin tightening procedure.

Choosing Laser Procedures Over Other Skin Tightening Methods
Laser treatments for skin tightening often work better than other methods, such as topical creams. In order for topical creams to work you must remember to use them as directed on an ongoing basis.

Laser treatments, on the other hand, can be done in a few scheduled sessions, eliminating the possibility of forgetting to treat your skin. Lasers also present an easier and safer method of skincare than surgery. You do not need to undergo anesthesia or stay overnight in a hospital in order to have laser skin tightening done. In fact, treatment with laser equipment often takes an hour or less. As a result, the cost of laser treatment is also far lower than the cost of surgery.

How Skin Tightening with Lasers is Accomplished
Skin tightening with lasers is typically accomplished in two ways. In order to understand both you must first know that collagen is a substance which helps to hold skin cells tight together. As you age the amount of collagen in your body naturally reduces, which can lead to wrinkles and sagging skin.

The first way in which lasers can tighten your skin is that, by heating up your skin cells, they cause existing collagen molecules to automatically tighten up. The contraction of the collagen molecules causes skin to tighten up. The second benefit is that your body will react to the laser treatment as if it is a mild attack. It will defend itself by making more collagen to repair your skin cells. Therefore, your skin will not only tighten, but also become stronger.

Lasers Can Treat Most Body Parts
It doesn't matter where on your body you have wrinkles or mild skin sags. Lasers can be used almost anywhere. So, whether you have sagging skin on your arms, stomach, neck or another area you can schedule a laser appointment. That versatility is part of what makes laser treatments for skin tightening so popular.

Making Sure You Are a Laser Skin Tightening Candidate
Laser skin tightening can be performed on most people. However, you may not be a candidate for the procedure if you have extra oily skin. The reason is that the laser will produce a lot of heat, which can cook your skin oils and leave burns or blisters. Your clinician may also rule you out as a laser skin tightening candidate if your wrinkles are too severe or if you also have other unrelated skin conditions which could be aggravated by the procedure instead of improved by it.

During and After the Laser Skin Tightening Procedure
When you book a laser skin tightening appointment you should expect it to take about one hour depending on paperwork you may have to fill out and how big of an area on your body you want to treat. Make sure you do not wear any perfumes or lotions on the day of the treatment. When you arrive your laser technician will use the laser tool in conjunction with occasional spurts of cool air to treat your skin while keeping you as comfortable as possible.

After the laser skin tightening procedure is over you can go home right away. You do not have to worry about a hospital stay. However, your skin will be extra sensitive to sunlight for at least a week after your laser treatment. Your clinician will advise you about post-procedural care, such as wearing sunscreen.

November blues

Beautiful sunset at Amverton Cove Gold Island Resort
It's November and it's Thursday, evening and raining here. Just sharing with you last month we went for a short vacation at Amverton Cove Golf Island Resort. Feel free to read the post, as you can find not just kids activities there. There's other activities for adults and also for golfers, do visit their Facebook to find out.

Today supposed to be a media trip that I can follow to go for Lost World of Tambun but not able to make it as it's an important day today to meet with teachers on son's education. Not just today the last media invitation also been rejected as it clashed with children's report card day. Last media invitation was to Legoland Malaysia.

The 28 October Friday, was an unlucky day for me, I have got a car accident. The 4 wheels truck hit the Toyota Vios and Toyota Vios hits my car. I was on the way to fetch my youngest son from kindergarten. I didn't make it to fetch him, I called sister-in-law about this and lucky that niece was at home she can help to fetch my son. My parents in law were here too, it's also the day they went back to hometown together with niece. At the moments, my car is not repair yet, the police report is RM34 and it showed that the driver's fault is the 4 wheels truck.

Next year gonna be a busy year for me and the kids as son will be Standard Six and youngest son is Standard One in Primary School. Besides busy he is busy tuition at school, he is also tuition outside. Got to balance the life of education having entertainment and also exercise for healthy living. No doubt I got to spend time for myself too, got to see how and make arrangement for it, perhaps pampering time, etc. I didn't have a transporter for my children as it is calculate by per person the payment for a way, both ways will be different payment and not yet include the outside tuition location to send. Now you know why there's a lot of calculation to do.

Few years back I followed the media trip as my dear's working nearer to home and able to fetch sons. But he's further away now and unable to help me to fetch them if I go, there's rider available now which I can pay if there's places I need to go. But then I need to consider about the children first like there's tuition or not and the time is suitable or not. There's lot to consider as a mom, not just parenting but also lifestyle of children.

By the way, anyone has got a good car workshop in Subang Jaya to recommend?

Beauty Is At Your Fingertips: Simple Strategies That Will Optimize Your Look

If looking drop dead gorgeous every single day is at the top of your priority list these days, you shouldn't delay the process of enhancing your appearance and confidence. Instead, get things going and start glowing now by utilizing the following tips:

1. Take Exercise Seriously.

It's clear that most U.S. residents don't attain the suggested amounts of exercise. You should. This is the case for many reasons, including the fact that regular physical activity is linked to mood stability, boosted immunity, improved body composition, and increased aerobic capacity. This is to say nothing of all the beauty benefits that result from exercising, some of which include weight loss, a slimmer physique, and more youthful-looking skin. Note that you have tons of options when it comes to finding forms of physical activities that will work with your schedule and personal preferences. One outlet you may want to consider is a local gym that features group fitness classes such as pilates, tae-bo, and yoga. Another option is doing exercises from the privacy of your home with fitness DVDs. You might also consider finding a walking buddy so that you'll have someone to keep you accountable for exercise.

2. Eat Well.

Eating the right foods can play a profound role in enhancing your physical appearance. For example, the vitamin C in bananas can help clear up blemishes. Also note that the vitamins in bananas help to keep your skin moist. Some of the other delicious fruits that can help optimize your appearance include apples, kiwi, and cantaloupe. One great way to work more fruit into your diet is by having a delicious smoothie for breakfast every morning.

3. Consider Cosmetic Services.

While natural beauty methods are oftentimes quite effective in enhancing an individual's appearance, it's important to know that obtaining professional cosmetic services can also be helpful. Technological advancements have made it easy for people to attain a wide range of beauty-boosting services in a relatively short amount of time. If you're interested in a specific service such as mouth reconstruction, note that the professionals of Northwest Implant Dental Spa can assist you.

Conclusion

While defining yourself in terms of your appearance is unhealthy and perhaps shallow, caring about the way you look certainly isn't. If you're interested in enhancing your physical appearance so you can build your self-esteem and enjoy life more, don't delay the process of getting the look you want. Instead, start implementing the simple tips discussed above so that you can feel and look amazing!

#High5forhandwashing Global Handwashing Day

Parents are important agents of behavior change in a child, hence it is important that parents demonstrate and reinforce this behavior at homes, because children learn by observing their elders. Being mom of two boys, I always teach my children to wash hands before meal.

In conjuction with the 10th Global Handwashing Day, Unilever Malaysia's leading health soap Lifebuoy is running its biggest celebration with its 'High5forhandwashing' campaign to encourage handwashing behavior globally. The campaign aims to celebrate clean hands, where members of public are encouraged a High-5 photo on their social media platforms to raise awareness amongst Malaysians about proper hand hygiene habits.

Lifebuoy is committed to teach this lifesaving habit good hygiene habit - handwashing with soap to five children for every picture uploaded on social media with the hashtag #High5forHandwashing. "Trough our High 5 for Handwashing programme, we are targeting to collect 200,000 High5s thereby committing to teach 1 million kids handwashing in 2018", said Vincent Chong, Marketing Director of Unilever (Malaysia) Holdings Sdn Bdn. Lifebuoy has partnered with more than 140 celebrities and key opinion leaders globally to amplify the handwashing messages and more than 5,000 of Lifebuoy's employees visited schools to mentor children with proper handwashing habits. The campaign has also broken the Guinness World Records for High 5-ing.
My son too know the important of #High5forHandwashing

Hygiene is important especially hands because hands are one of the most common mediums to spread germs from one person to another. Most hygiene related health problems are spread through a simple touch. With High 5 for handwashing, Lifebuoy is encouraging people to have the confidence to High 5 and adopt a simple hand washing habit to prevent hygiene related health problems.

Lifebuoys runs the world's largest hygiene behavior change programme and has already reached over 379 million people worldwide since 2010. The campaign is anchored on the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan (USLP) that emphasizes on creating sustainable living commonplace through behavioural change. The Plan was launched to increase positive social impact arising from Unilever's initiatives while halving the organisation's environmental impacts.
